The Anzac Bridge is located in Sydney, Australia, crossing Johnstons Bay, between Pyrmont and Rozelle. The bridge is 805 metres long and has a span of 345 metres, making it the largest cable-stayed bridge in Australia. Construction began in 1992 and the bridge opened in 1995. The bridge replaced the swing bridge Glebe Island Bridge. The Anzac Bridge is named after the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps who served in World War I. The eastern tower of the bridge is topped by an Australian flag and the western tower by a New Zealand flag.
